Wedding photography
| I specialise in natural reportage style, fine portraiture and also shoot those all-important formal posed and group portraits that you may require. Based in Leeds, UK I travel to all parts of the UK or abroad. Although I can tailor my service to suit your needs, I have some of my most popular listed further down the page. For me wedding photography is not just a process of turning up on the day and shooting in the hope of getting something worth using. It is about working with couples to make sure that they will get the pictures that they want and are at ease in the run up to the big day. It is about making sure that all photo opportunities are realised during the wedding day. It is about processing and editing the pictures to the highest standard. It is about presenting the images as well as possible either in a stunning bespoke wedding album or on a disc so that you can choose your own prints. At a typical wedding day I will do about 10-12 hours coverage mostly blending into the background but will be able to do any formal or group shots that you require in a matter of minutes at an appropriate time. Around 20 minutes during the day with just the bride and groom will allow me to get some portraits that catch you looking relaxed and happy. My aim is to make sure that your wedding day flows seamlessly while capturing the proceedings with maximum impact and a minimum of fuss. Pricing; Clients are often surprised by the prices I charge. The lowest price package starts at £230 and the highest price is £580. The simple reasons are that I wish to be fully booked because the more weddings I do the more recommendations for others I get and also I reflect the ‘real’ costs involved and not the hiked up prices left over from the days when shooting on film made everything so much more expensive. I have made up some typical packages so that it helps couples who may be unsure of what would be best for them but if you have a specific idea of what you may want please get in touch for a quote. I get many enquiries and try to limit myself to about 30 weddings a year as any more can become too hard to handle so if you think you might be interested please get in touch as early as possible. My three most popular packages are: Package one, Photography of pre-service arrivals, the actual service (exchange of rings, signing of the register etc.) and all post service portraits (group shots, reportage style pictures of family and friends and the couple leaving) on a high-resolution disc for you to print, email and do with as you please. Package two, all of the above and also including a bespoke wedding album designed and printed with all of the pictures. Package three, The full day’s photography including getting ready, the service, bride and groom portraits, group pictures and the reception until after cake cutting and the first dance, a bespoke designed and printed wedding album of the entire day, (including pictures of all friends and family at the reception) and a high resolution CD of all 180+ photos of the day. All of the above packages include copyright release, picture processing and editing, a meeting (if this will help) to discuss any queries or ideas that you may have in order to make sure you get precisely the pictures you desire and delivery of the photos within about 1-2 weeks.
